On April 10, Venus Smart Shop was invited to attend the“Opening Ceremony”Summit of the 2026 AI Glasses China Tour and the“Most Investment-Worthy AI Glasses Company” Awards Ceremony, which were held with great fanfare at the Shenzhen Futian Convention and Exhibition Center. The event took place concurrently with the 14th China Information Technology Expo (CITE 2026).

Hosted by Baidu Intelligent Cloud’s host Sanwen, the event brought together hundreds of guests, including leaders from industry associations, representatives from investment firms, companies across the industry chain, and media outlets, to jointly chart a new blueprint for China’s smart glasses industry.
With Policy and Market Synergy, AI Glasses Are Poised for Breakthrough
The summit kicked off with opening remarks from the China Electronics Video Industry Association and the Shenzhen Smart Wearables Industry Association.

The China Electronics Video Industry Association has long been committed to the development of the AI glasses industry and has previously put forward recommendations to strengthen technological innovation, optimize user experience, promote industrial collaboration, and improve the standards system.

The address by the Shenzhen Smart Wearables Industry Association highlighted Shenzhen’s geographical advantage as a global hub for the smart wearables industry and emphasized the importance of collaborative industrial development.
In 2026, national policies were further expanded to include smart glasses in the scope of subsidies for purchasing new digital products, injecting strong momentum into the industry. Industry data indicates that the global AI smart glasses market will expand from $1.2 billion to $5.6 billion, with the United States and China together contributing nearly 80% of global demand. This inflection point, referred to within the industry as the “iPhone moment,” is propelling the AI smart glasses sector from product exploration into a new phase of large-scale production and ecosystem development.
Stars Shine Bright as the “Most Investment-Worthy AI Smart Glasses Companies” List Is Unveiled
The awards ceremony brought the summit to its first climax.

With award presenters Dong Min (Secretary-General of the China Electronics Video Industry Association) and Zheng Yi (Founder of Chaodian Think Tank) in attendance, the list of winners for the “Most Investment-Worthy AI Smart Glasses Companies” was officially announced. A total of 16 outstanding companies—Weiguang Electronics, Jiaogu Technology, Crete, Elephant Acoustics, Wuaida, Connet Optics, Yuxin Technology, Kangtaida, Duko New Materials, Haisi, Daotong Technology, Zhongke Ronghe, Gudong Intelligence, Guangna Siwei, Li Weike, and Jiuhou Technology—received this honor.
This list covers core segments of the industry chain, including optical lenses, AI chips, acoustic technology, new materials, and complete device solutions, presenting a comprehensive ecosystem map of China’s AI glasses industry.

Additionally, the summit presented “AI Glasses China Tour Advisor Plaques” to Xia Tian, Xu Liqian, and Ai Qi to recognize their outstanding contributions to advancing the industry’s development.
Cutting-Edge Technology and Ecosystem Integration: A Series of Captivating Keynote Speeches
The keynote session focused on core industry topics.

Shanghai Connet Optics took the stage first to discuss the new demands that smart glasses place on lenses. Connet Optics has partnered with approximately 20 leading domestic and international smart glasses developers, with some projects already in mass production. Its joint venture with Goertek has further expanded its R&D and production capabilities for custom lenses and waveguide eyepieces specifically designed for smart glasses.

Weiguang Electronics Technology delivered a presentation titled “From ‘Software Defines Everything’ to ‘Touchpoints as Entry Points’—The Agent Ecosystem in the Era of AI Glasses,” elucidating the new positioning of AI glasses in the Agent era.

Tencent Cloud shared solutions for the consumer electronics sector, demonstrating how cloud providers are deeply empowering the smart wearables industry.

As a leading domestic provider of smart wearable application solutions, Youchuangyi presented on the theme “From Camera-Equipped AI Earbuds to the Future Path of AI Glasses,” sharing insights on the cross-industry integration and industrial expansion of AI audio technology. Youchuangyi possesses proprietary core algorithms and comprehensive wearable product solutions, and is expanding from its core strength in smartwatches into a multi-device ecosystem encompassing smart glasses, smart rings, and more.

KRETA, under the theme “AI Glasses + Brain-Computer Interface + Industry Applications = Reshaping Human-Computer Interaction and the Future of Industry,” shared insights and outlooks on the future development direction of the AI smart glasses industry.
Roundtable Discussion: Exploring the Path to Standardization for AI Audio Glasses
The roundtable session was moderated by Xu Liqian, founder of Vinu Eyewear, and featured an in-depth discussion on the industry standardization topic of “Specifications for Plug-and-Play Interfaces on AI Audio Glasses Temples.”

Gao Yongtong, Senior Advisor at Yashi Optics; Zhang Jiawei, Founder and CEO of KRETA; Ouyang Huwu, Marketing Director at Shentong Lithium Battery; Li Ziqing, Chairman of Youchuangyi; and Li Yachun, Co-founder of Wuaida, exchanged views on core issues such as the unification of interface standards, industry chain collaboration, and enhancing user experience. Standardization is a crucial step toward industrial scaling, and this roundtable discussion provided valuable insights for the standardized development of the AI audio glasses industry.
Looking Ahead: China’s AI Glasses Industry Sets Sail Once More
From the “Battle of the Hundred Glasses” to the “Opening Ceremony,” China’s AI glasses industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation from unregulated growth to high-quality development. A year ago, the “AI Glasses China Tour” initiated by the ChaoDian Think Tank visited leading industry players such as Yijing Virtual, Yingmu, Gudong Intelligence, and Baidu, establishing industry benchmarks for seamless collaboration across the supply chain. The 2026 “Opening Ceremony” serves not only as a summary of the industry’s explorations over the past year but also as a brand-new starting point for the future. With policy benefits continuing to materialize, technology steadily maturing, and capital flowing in at an accelerated pace, AI glasses are transitioning from “novelty items” to “mass-market consumer products,” and the golden age of China’s smart wearable industry is rapidly approaching.
