From June 26 to 28, 2026, the 7th Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Services and Supply Chain Expo was held as scheduled at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian Hall). This year’s expo brought together numerous participants from across the TCM industry chain—from herbal medicine supply and health services to smart technology applications—showcasing the diversified development trends of the TCM industry in the new era. Among the many exhibitors, a smart wearable device that combines traditional TCM diagnosis with modern artificial intelligence attracted significant attention: the AI TCM Pulse and Tongue Diagnosis Smart Ring, presented by Shenzhen Huaxinzi Technology Co., Ltd.

Traditional TCM diagnostic methods, such as pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis, have historically relied on the practitioner’s personal experience and subjective judgment. Although these methods have a long history of clinical application, they also have certain limitations—for example, diagnostic results are easily influenced by the practitioner’s individual skill level, and it is difficult to standardize and scale these methods. The maturation of artificial intelligence technology, however, offers new approaches to addressing these challenges. By collecting physiological data through sensors and analyzing it using algorithmic models, AI holds the potential to make TCM diagnosis more objective, convenient, and accessible.
At this year’s Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Supply Chain Expo, there was a noticeable increase in exhibits centered on the theme of “Technology Empowering Traditional Chinese Medicine.” From smart decoction devices to digital health management platforms, it is evident that the entire industry is undergoing a profound technological transformation. Huaxinzi Technology chose to showcase its AI-powered TCM smart ring at this event precisely because of the expo’s influence and its ability to bring together industry stakeholders.
The Technology Behind a Ring
Based on publicly available information, the smart ring exhibited by Huaxinzi Technology focuses its core functions on two aspects: AI-powered pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine. These two diagnostic methods hold a significant place in the traditional Chinese medicine system and are regarded as key tools for TCM practitioners to assess a patient’s health.
Pulse diagnosis infers the state of qi and blood circulation in the human body by sensing characteristics such as the pulse’s frequency, rhythm, and strength; tongue diagnosis, on the other hand, assesses the function of internal organs by observing changes in the tongue’s color, shape, and coating. Integrating these two functions into a smart device in the form of a ring requires overcoming numerous technical challenges. For example, how to achieve high-precision sensor data collection within such a small form factor, how to ensure that algorithmic models accurately interpret and translate TCM diagnostic logic, and how to guarantee the stability and accuracy of data collection during everyday wear—these are all areas requiring ongoing R&D investment.
It is worth noting that Huaxinzi Technology has positioned its product around the concept of “bringing TCM health monitoring into tens of millions of households.” This direction actually reflects a clear trend in the current smart health device market: consumers are no longer satisfied with simple fitness tracking or sleep analysis, but instead seek more in-depth and professional health assessments. TCM health management offers unique advantages in meeting this need—it emphasizes a holistic approach and personalization, which aligns perfectly with the concept of “precision health management” sought by people today.
Huaxinzi Technology’s decision to incorporate AI-powered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) functionality into a smart ring reflects a design philosophy centered on “lightweight” and “seamless” integration. Compared to traditional pulse and tongue diagnosis, which require a visit to a clinic, a ring that can be worn daily significantly lowers the barrier to use. Users do not need to change their lifestyle habits; simply by wearing the ring as usual, they can receive health recommendations based on TCM principles. This product concept indeed offers a unique selling point in today’s smart health wearable market.
